Fantastic Value travel rod
5 of 5 found this helpful This is the second I have bought as I lost the tip section and needed one for a Caribbean holiday.
Matched to a Shimano baitrunner this rod dealt with casting a 2 ounce lead with feathers for bait,
livebaiting off a small boat for Barracuda, Mahi Mahi and Tuna and deep trolling for kingfish.
In the UK it has been used for Bass fishing of the rocks and river roving for Pike on the Wye.
The action is nice and tippy with loads of reserve power lower in the blank and quality of fittings are good.
Re badge it to a more prestigious name and it would easily be double the price.
Only downside is it doesn't come in a travel tube
