A Loaf too far

Sorry to say but the product may look great but if you like wholemeal bread this is not the machine for you. It will not bake a wholemeal loaf or even a fifty fifty loaf to any sort of decent standard. My first try at a Morphy Richards breadmaker, always used Panasonic before, never again. Far too much faffing about with the ingredients, water at room temperature, powdered milk, sunflower oil etc, all supposed to give you the perfect loaf. Well it may work for white bread but on several attempts to bake wholemeal bread nothing but failure, collapsing bread, follow the troubleshooting guide and collapsing bread again, they even recommend not to use the timer delay function when baking wholemeal bread, so how you get fresh wholemeal bread in the mornings, who knows. Yet the previous breadmaker (Panasonic) did it with ease. So sorry to say the machine has been returned and luckily enough did not consign the old breadmaker to the bin, so it's been dusted off and put back in service while I look for a much more suitable replacement, this time I will study the recommended ingredients and methods first, but it will be a Panasonic.
