Great device and bundled software
Great 'data entry' device, if you can handle 25 mini-keys. The bundled software (piano/EP/analogue soft-synths) are the surprise package.

Very solid product
Very solid. Handles are metal too. Drawers are robustly made for their size, with barrel nuts throughout. In my opinion it can last for years.

Clear and flat throughout
1 of 1 found this helpful I have 3 quality headphones; Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro, Sennheiser HD595 and now this one...
The DT770 is smooth and tame unless pushed. The HD595 packs a punch and very bright and powerful. These KRKs is balanced right between the two - and very clear. It's as if the drivers are more taut, giving more room for details that you don't hear as finely as the others. Yes, there's punch but it's more controlled throughout the spectrum, revealing more of the character in the instruments and vocals which is very useful if you are an audio engineer.
I have a home studio and mix with the DT770. But I'll soon be mixing with the KRKs, once I get to know it better - A/B comparing with the DT770 if not on its own altogether.
