Why did I wait so long!
Wow! All these years thinking the sub-pump was normal to clank after stopping. Heard about the silent check valve, so I bought this one as it has the rubber hose and 4 hose clamps. Took all of 10 minutes to remove old cheap check valve to this one. Wow! I have to go in the basement to check and see if my pump is working since it is so quiet! The clear plastic is nice so you can see inside the valve if any debris gets in there. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Best $25 I ever spent.

Super decision on my part to have ordered this great book.
Much better a book then I thought! Nice color pictures with detailed information covering everything about the camera from features to processing using Canon's supplied software. The book is well organized in a step by step procedure of camera use. Also contains plenty of very good tips, warnings, and suggestions. Overall this is an excellent book for the beginner to intermediate Canon user to familiarize yourself with all the buttons, bells and whistles of this camera. I would give it a 10 out of 10 as an excellent resource reference book to keep next to your Canon 450D camera!
