Expensive but worth it.
This is 2nd Spyderco Tusk. This one is a better knife than my 1st. The blade came wickedly sharp from the factory. My 1st one didn't come with as fine an edge as my new one has. The steel the blade is made holds an edge very well but is hard to sharpen. I was able to obtain a good cutting angle on the 1st blade but it took a looong time and optional diamond tri sticks for my Spyderco sharpening set which I bought because of this knife. I've always sharpened my knives with a conventional sharpening stone but not this one. I sail so the marlin spike was a big part of the reason I repurchased this particular knife. I live on a farm and carry this knife daily. The spike works well on horse tack as well. Ergonomics are outstanding. Fits very well in your hand and opens easily. It's gone through Christmas and opening all the card board boxes that goes along with having kids in the house. Touched it up with a leather strop tonight and it's back to shaving sharp again. Would have given it 5 stars accept for the price.

What I wanted
1 of 1 found this helpful I have 1972 FL that was a Shriners bike. The friend I got from still had all the original parts including the stock buddy seat. I tried getting used to it but the center of gravity was so high I couldn't. The Police style solo seat is perfect for my riding style. I'm 58. I used to ride alot but that was 25+ years ago. This seat is much more to my liking. Once I got the springs set right in the seat post it's like riding on a cloud. Good purchase and I should be able to recoup the purchase price by selling the buddy seat.
