Tamiya 1/35 scale M48A3 Patton
I've bought Tamiya model kits for literally decades. They're always well made, detailed and require minimal cleaning up before assembly. They have a wide selection, at a wide variety of prices, so there's something for everyone. Assuming you're interested in military vehicles! The educational part is covered in the information provided with the model. It gives a brief overview of the history of the particular vehicle being constructed.

Deathlok graphic novel review
Book was basically as new. Still in its original cellophane wrapper, so had clearly never been opened. Slight damage to two corners of the hardback cover, but that could have been there from when it was sitting on the shop shelf, so acceptable.
The graphic novel itself is a collection of the original Astonishing Tales, Deathlok the Demolisher comics from the mid seventies. These were very unlike other Marvel comics of the time, very dark, violent and the main character was an anti-hero. I think the concept behind the character of Luther Manning (Deathlok) was years ahead of its time. So yes, the content is compelling.

KLR650 starter motor
The motor appears to be very well made. It fits perfectly and runs. I can't say much more that that at the moment because I haven't fitted it to an engine that can run. To give a full review I would need to have had it on the bike for while to determine its reliability. However, for the money, it was great value and so far, so good
