This is a typical old-fashioned sponge head that screws onto a mop handle.

This product gets squeezed to wring it our when a lever is slid along the long pole of the mop. It works as expected, no more, no less. It is the butterfly style and the real test of it working is how well the mechanism on your mop handle works, which is not part of this product.
