Great Capra Movies
1 of 1 found this helpful In this cynical age, it's nice to be able to go back to movies that celebrate the best in us and remind us of "our better angels". "You Can't Take It With You", for example, shows us there are more important things in life than slaving for the almighty dollar. "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington " makes us remember what government is supposed to be about. You can't go wrong with this wonderful set.

Best Treatment of this Story
I thoroughly love this version of An Affair to Remember! Beatty and Bening are at the top of their game here. The chemistry between this real life couple is readily apparent throughout the film. The
recognition scene at the end is worth the price of the movie! Forget the critics and don't miss this one if you like Beatty and Bening.

Great musical-comedy with Dean Martin and Judy Holiday
This is just a wonderful musical comedy with the incomparable Judy Holiday and Dean Martin. Great songs like "Just in Time" and "The Party's Over" from Julie Styne. Character actors like Jean Arthur, Eddie Foy Jr., and Frank Gorshin. They don't make them like this anymore. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
