The Empire Poppy Store is a Community Interest Company formed by the Ancre Somme Association Charity NIC 108368.

A community interest company is a business with primarily social objectives whose surpluses are principally reinvested for that purpose in the business or the community, rather than being driven by the need to maximize profit for shareholders and owners.

The Ancre Somme Association Charity was formed in 2009 by a group of people who were interested in their Armed Forces heritage from WW1, WW2 and all subsequent Wars and Conflicts. Our Officers and members created our vision, mission and strategy in 2019.

1. Education - we will assist, support and enhance young people's understanding of HM Armed Forces.

2. Remembrance - From the wet trenches of Flanders to the dry deserts of Afghanistan. We will remember all those brave men, women, and animals who served in HM Armed Forces.

3. Supporting - we will continually support our Armed Forces charities.

    Very nice flag, and speedy delivery. I had thought from the pictures that I may have some bonus bunting too, but only the flag. To be fair though, this was all I was after buying. "Note to Empire Poppy Store ... please only include pictures of what will be in the package, as I was stupidly disappointed when in actual fact I would have been elated had I not thought something was missing". Great service, quality and value, I will return for the next event.
