Excellent textbook for healthcare students
This is an extremely up to date and comprehensive textbook. It is well written and laid out. Although it costs quite a lot, many textbooks are far more expensive. I like the way the 6Cs are utilised throughout; I also appreciate the “orange” and “red flag” boxes which alert the reader to possible risks for patients. Assessments and monitoring are covered in depth, as well as medicine management and nursing considerations. This book would be useful to any healthcare student due to the wealth of information on physiology and pathophysiology, as well as the extensive references lists after each chapter. I definitely recommend it!
