works for almost all tyres
The item was brought specifically to remove quad bike tyres at home. The bead breaker function would not work on these tyres due to the soft construction of the tyres. On a trailer and van tyre it worked as it should so overall I would say it does what it does but a caveat should be applied to it to warn of the shortcomings on quad bike tyres.
In addition, it cannot be used for motorcycle tyres which was its other intended use. The centre spindle will not pass through motorcycle wheels. An additional device needs to be purchased to enable motorcycle tyres to be removed and fitted, again, a caveat should be added to point this out to prospective purchases.
