I love dolls, I have 4 Grandson's who are not keen on dolls. My younger daughters were not doll fans, my elder daughter did love dolls, but it has been a long time, I help all the sad and lonely dolls who need a bit if help to become their best selves, no hair is too frazzled, paint and pen marks, I will try to remove. I await a Granddaughter, it absolutely has to happen but meanwhile I will refubish dolls to give them a new life

Bought to understand how our family and romantic relationships work and to understand why things don't always go right!
A really interesting insight into relationships based on birthdays.

Cider with Roadies
I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my mother, who has already read some other books by the same author (and left a lot of hints that she wanted this one too!). I have a feeling that she has not quite engaged with it as well as with the other books, as the basis is around Rock Bands in the 80's I believe. My cousin raved about this book but he is a 30 something Festival fan and not a Grandma in their mid 60's!
I expect to be loaned this book at some point and hope I enjoy as much as Pies and Prejudice, which was brilliant and Adventures on the High Teas. Yes I have read them out of sequence but I don't think that really matters. Raw wit, Northern humour and Stuart Maconie writes the way that we think, all things are worth a mention, if a little bit brilliant or a little bit pants! A must for anyone who lives north of Watford and beyond!
