Aeros MX-850 Programmable Universal Remote Control 0Z5URCMX850 URC
    26 Aug, 2020
Not for everyone, but behold great features
What you must understand about this stellar device is that you cannot just purchase one and use it out of the box. You must have software to program it as well as a serial cable. These remotes were meant to be programmed by distributors and trained professionals. The software is mostly obtainable from URC directly if you request it through email and give them the serial number and model of your remote. You are still on your own As far as the serial cable is concerned, but can obtain one online. The software is pretty intuitive if you’ve ever programmed anything before, and even without instruction I got in there and was able to program three of these remotes for three different rooms and devices without any issue. The remote has your standard keys down on most universal remotes and it also has an LCD of more obscure commands that you can grab from the database or you can program yourself. Once programmed you will notice these remotes have a much better range than most standard remotes, especially if they have relatively fresh batteries in them. Of course as with any high-end remote, The strength comes in being able to program macros into the remote. Another feature is to be able to learn head to head from a more obscure remote in which the codes may not be in the older databases, e.g. sound bars, HDMI switches, etc. Of course, the software saves all your profiles to your computer so it is easy to do minor adjustments or add-ons and then re-upload them to the remote. Overall a great remote, but again it is not for the squeamish or those who don’t like tinkering with things. But if you want to unleash some great power this is the remote to get as long as you can obtain the software and cable.

    Sweet phone!!
This phone is definitely an upgrade to the Kaiser or At&t Tilt which I previously owned. It has alot of built in feature that you had to previously pay for and alot of that could be becuase of the WM 6.5 that it comes with out of the box. There are some things I definitely need to get used to that work differently from the predecessor. e.g. touchflo is in full effect. Before I could rub my finger on screen to multi select items, now when I rub my finger on screen it moves the screen. The battery power is kinda rough. On my Tilt I could run all day on a battery with bluetooth on and data connection 24/7. Such feats on the Tilt2 go for about 10-16 hours. Overall, I am very happy with my Tilt2 and it does everything I need it to. There are some more tweaks I need to give it so it behaves like I want it to but that goes for any new phone.
