Simple Design & Very Easy to Assemble
1 of 1 found this helpful If you're looking for the bare bones of a bed like I was in, then I cannot recommend this bed enough.
The reason I needed a bed like this was the size - I had very limited floor space to work with and I managed to get around it by using this small double bed frame and a standard double mattress on top. It's against the wall on one side and that's where the minimal overhang of the slightly too big mattress is hidden.
Anyway, the bed itself is an extremely straight forward design. So much so, you could work it out without following the instructions! Once all four sides are connected it can easily be picked up and feels sturdy as a single unit.
When it came to putting the slats on I was pleasantly surprised to find that there's two lots of slats that are connected with velcro and easily connect to the frame as you're unrolling them. I'd never seen this before and have found on some beds in the past the slats have to be inserted one at a time and can be rather fiddly.
All in all from opening the box my bed came in to putting my mattress on, the finished frame took under half an hour. Oh, and I easily managed it on my own, without any awkward balancing acts.
