Lucky In The Sky
Summarized Play
--
This is a game where each player tries to balance going as far as they can against possibly losing their progress in the attempt.
The game takes place aboard a blimp which travels along a line of fantastic places. Each turn begins with one player as the captain rolling a number of dice which determine what colors are required to make the trip to the next destination.
Everyone starts with a handful of cards which have the colors of the dice rolled. Then, every player that is not the captain decides whether or not to jump off. If they decide to jump, they will receive points according to the site the blimp was at. The further along the blimp is, the better chances for more points but the number of colors needed to make the trip will also increase.
If the captain is unable to produce the right colors, the blimp crashes and is sent to start with everyone who was on board receiving nothing. Each player then receives an additional card and the next player is made captain to begin the journey again. First player to accumulate fifty points, wins.

The game is an excellent reprint/overhaul of the discontinued game Cloud Nine and the game play is as good as ever. It has a very fun Luck Pushing as you look at the journey and what the captain has on hand and then decide if it's worth testing the odds. Maybe it's better to play it safe but really! You could get lucky!
