It would be better if it allowed you to also charge your phone by connecting a power adapter to the the large size USB while its plugged in to the phone on the micro size USB connector.
I have tried removing the sliding plastic which prevents doing this but it is somehow wired so that power from the big USB doesn't go directly through to the micro USB. I don't see any practical reason why this shouldn't be done although USB formal protocols might disallow it.
The 128Gb memory although tiny gets quite warm and uses significant power from the phone, so it runs the battery down at least twice as fast while playing music while its plugged in (with the screen off). My phone is a fairly old Galaxy S5, maybe newer ones have better battery life.
