The letters are a fascinating insight
with the minimal corner ding or scuff this was an absolute bargain, especially as it’s signed by the author. Very minimal lifestory regarding the Colonel as he didn’t seem to be a man that revealed too much of himself. The letters however (from what I’ve read so far) are quite fascinating & show him to be totally dedicated & loyal to Elvis with what seems to be a genuine love for ‘his’ boy Elvis. I do get the feeling that Guralnick is maybe a big fan of the Colonels tho as plenty seems to be either history re-written, glossed over or not even mentioned rather setting the record straight. Recommended read tho, or audio recording in my case
