Very disappointing.
0 of 1 found this helpful The film was really good and about Philomena. The book is about her son, his homosexuality and how that didn't work alongside his chosen career within American politics of the era. There is very little about Philomena. It feels like the author hasn't really got enough material for the book so he makes it up as he goes along with a fictional feel to it. If you have seen the film please don't read this book, you'll be so disappointed.
