The card is magic and I'd go back to the supplier if I needed more
Gday, It started sometime back when I decided to buy a small low cost PDA/Computer. My third decision was a WindowsCE 6.0 notebook and as much memory to hold all my music and ebooks. On reading the instructions I found I could go to a maximum of 32Mb so I researched the issue and found a supplier with plenty of selling points as SD cards are notorious for being poor copys that don't work. I have the card now for quite some time and it gives 100% reliability in my tiny netbook. All up I'm really happy with my purchase. To sumarise, 1. Make sure you research you device purchase carefully. Can your machine use a certain memory and physical size of SD card. Look in the manual or ask the supplier. 2. For electronics that can have poor indian or chinese copies (eg, Sandisk SD cards) always go to a good supplier with a few 1000 seller's points. 3. Always be careful with these small devices, especially a large investment like 32GB. I keep the card always in my netbook. You start fiddling pushing and pulling cards in and out you can damage a gold contact or the operating system makes a mistake and brick your card.

Great non volatile memory.
I use them on my 8 bit Microprocessor P.C.B.s I design as main memory. There non volatile memory so work is retained and they require no messy battery backup circuitry. Every so often I lift it and put on my programmer and download the contents to backup what I'm doing and put them back and keep writing and running code.
Universal Pack of 10 printed circuits prototypes PCB board 5x7cm, Brown U5F N8C2

Small PCB with a multitude of uses
The board while only 5 x 7cm is something I am never without. They lend themselves to building modules with flyleads and a row of LEDs or maybe switches for tinkering or even a module holding a crystal and 7404 with reset switch up to a 40 pin 128K ram with flyleads to form external ram on a FPGA. They are big enough to fit a 40 pin DIP device with pins on either side so can make a turn of the moment motherboard for a 40 pin microcontroller. If you wanted you could use a number of them with a right hand set of pins down one edge and plugged into a number of socket strips soldered across a veroboard to form a larger project but with reduced complexity by being able to pull one card out to debug the project as needed.
