good but radio interference limits uses
1 of 1 found this helpful This product works as stated. The voltage or current stays very (almost perfectly) steady over all the loads I gave it (I never drew more than 200mA). It can even light a 120V bulb a little. It is very easy to use. One of the reasons I got it was to power a 15V 2A Rubidium clock, but I can not use it for that because Shortwave and AM broadcasts get blocked by the power supplie's RF noise. If you can build a shield around it it might alleviate that problem, but it would be a difficult project. When I first turned it on the current meter was always correct but the voltmeter was off by ~50%. After a while they were both correct, so maybe that was a temporary problem with the brand new switches having to be broken in.

Picture has "10.5V-13.5V" power supply! They do not even work together: these units use 5 Volt power supplies.
Look at the photo: there is a "10.5V-13.5V" power supply! They do not even work together: these units use 5 Volt power supplies. This is a scam company, selling items they got from a garbage. In General: Trimble units like these were made around 2006, so the non-replaceable internal batteries would generally be long dead, and they use a miniature hard drive, which in almost all units would have crashed by now, due to expected life span. I also got a Geo XT from a better company which was shown as working in their photos, but by the time it got to me through the mail, the hard drive had crashed, often if a very old drive has not been turned on in a decade it will spin for the first time it is turned on (just long enough to take a photo of the "working unit") and then crash forever. Trimble products from the 2000's were made to become obsolete very quickly: I have a 5700 by them and the software can not report correct time after 2016, due to the bugs they wrote in the firmware, and they will not give out free firmware "patches" without being paid (for there own mistakes ?!?!) thus standing behind their original intents.

Tiny thermistors.
These work well with my HP3456A meter. It takes a 5kΩ thermistor to automatically display temperature, but luckily these came as a two pack of 10kΩ thermistors which I soldered in parallel to make 5kΩ. They seem accurate to atleast ±1°C versus my Pt100 probe. They respond to temperature changes faster than anything else I have.
