Good bit of kit

Excelent antenna and excellent value.
This is a 5/8 wavelength antenna which makes a huge difference when mounted on a car roof.
A 5/8 wave produces a lower angle of radiation so your signal goes straight out to the sides thather than most of it going up in the air. Basically, you get a stronger signal for the same amount of power out from the radio. We use ours with an Ofcom small business licence and have found these much better for convoy comms over the stock rubber ducks on HT's inside the vehicle without exceeding the max ERP limits of the licence conditions.
