Nice and quiet PSU
1 of 1 found this helpful The PSU is indeed quiet. It's identical to the one that failed and that one lasted just over two years which isn't *that* good really but it has had a lot of use! I chose this one as it does have 3 SATA connections and others in the same price bracket only came with two and because it's the same model as my previous one, I knew it'd fit exactly.

Works fine, a bit fiddly to fit.
I fitted this to replace a damaged stylus for a relatives HIFI. Not having heard what the original unit sounds like, I can't compare this replacement. However it sounded good to me. It's not an original part but it fitted. The way it clipped in was a bit fiddly but A. I'd not done one of these before and B. the metal carrier fell out of the pickup arm! But I managed to get it all back together. So as a replacement for the JVC ALE58 Record Player Stylus, it worked.

Does the job
The AA batteries fitted nice and tightly and the leads were long enough to use. All in all a decent replacement for the corroded one.
