Although the item arrived safely, this was more by good luck than management; the watch was wrapped in 2 layers of bubble wrap and placed in an ordinary paper envelope. The watch was advertised as being a WW2 airman's watch, which it most probably is, but the strap I think is a much later addition and this was not stated in the description.
