This is truly NOS (New Old Stock) and has never been opened. I don't feel a need to open it now either. Seems pretty nice!

Better than I would have guessed
Things this old are always hit or miss. This one was a hit. It works and was in good shape. Wish it came with the cable but not such a big deal

It is flexible and usable.
2 of 2 found this helpful I did not buy the unit indicated from eBay as the seller "mistakenly" had a 16GB unit, not a 32GB. I did, however acquire one through other channels. But to review the thing itself, I will say I bought it because I wanted more capacity. The one short-coming of the Nexus 7 is the lack of expandable/removable storage.
I bought it to be an all-purpose thing. With it, I have video, image, reading and musical entertainment. I can also do emails and web interaction. When the activity is keyboard intensive, I pull out my Logitech bluetooth keyboard (which I did buy here) and go at it like it was a PC.
I could have bought other brands or varieties, but it was because it is easily unlocked and customized that attracted me. It's my device and I will use it how I want to use it. And I do.
I am in the process of creating a mount for my car and the Nexus 7 dock to interface it with my car's stereo and engine. I already do this now, but without the convenient mounting.
