well engineered
Fortunately, I watched several youtube videos before I did anything. There are two that highly recommend this product and demonstrate it's use. This is far superior to a helicoil. If you are of medium skill level and above and are patient and careful, you can save yourself a major headache and a big shop bill. Some things I learned; What causes the plug to work itself out is not enough torque on plug installation. The one that blew was the one a shop replaced with a coil. I checked my other van and the two that were replaced were lose! Also, the E clip should be used on the tap, NOT the reamer. Buy a borescope and a 3/8 air ratchet, Harbor freight is fine. Attach 1/4 copper plumbing tube to an air line to blow out the chips. This is CRUCIAL. The word for success is meticulous.

Does not fit- not for restorations
The mounting holes did not line up. I had to drill it to match.

This is an exceptional part. I previously installed a cheap knock off which only lasted a year. The only minor issue with this is the screws for the lower mount were a little long, interfered with glass travel. I ground them down and good to go.
