I love this game - difficult but fun, Spicy!
I'm new to RPG boardgames and am amazed at how versatile and innovative they have become. TED is a really good example of an up to the minute game engine and has a massive following. Its excellent fun , the artwork is fresh and lush, the cards are nicely plastic coated for durability, the whole set oozes quality, even the nice box. The figures are all nicely moulded and offer loads of variety. Although packaged small, its a full blown dungeon crawler , cooperative for 1 to 4 players. I have many games now, I really like Legends of Andor and One Deck Dungeon, but this now is my current favourite. Its so clever in design, you really can mitigate bad luck with strategy. The focus feature makes the game so adaptable even if you have a bad dice roll. It's a little complicated, you will need to have a reference guide to hand, and also watch some playthroughs, but WOW! its worth the little extra effort to experience this masterpiece. (think of the difficulty as a spicy curry, its a challenge but well worth it in the end!!!!) I'd recommend for all ages as once you get it it's easy to explain, this games ticks all the boxes for me, 100% you should buy it.
