Exiting
I have digital and analog sources through a quad 303. Listen to most types of music.(but not jazz). E30's are so fast and lively especially when playing rock and pop. Drums have a real drive and energy as do cymbals. There is excellent separation between instruments and masses of detail from top to bottom.
They look and sound unlike any modern speakers. Very easy to drive to very high sound levels.
The best thing is that they are really engaging. They suck you straight into your music and breath life into it.
I can't recommend them enough.

2 of 2 found this helpful I've had mine for around 15 years. I had them serviced and recapped at amp labs shortly after getting them. They have performed perfectly. I was told by someone in the know a few years ago they were let down by the disc input. You know how it is, when someone says something is missing you think you can hear it. So I bought a well reviewed phono stage and tried it for a bit, but it was thin sounding and going back to the 33s own input was amazing. I haven't tinkered since.
If your interested my sources are goldring 1042, pro ject rpm 9, and a meridian explorer. Playing into tannoy cheviots. ( don't make them like they used to).

Quality and performance
Excellent picture and sound. Particularly good at up scaling dvd to look pretty much as good as Blu-ray. Well built
