A neat efficient machine - just the job for damp buildings.
2 of 2 found this helpful The Trotec is so good we've just bought a second one. It works well, quietly and can be wheeled anywhere easliy. It's quite heavy, of necessity, so we bought one for downstairs as well, to save lugging it up and down. It's a well designed machine, unlike many competetitors - it looks neat in white with green trim and has good castors to wheel it around. It has a comprehensive display on the top with the humidity level indicated, and a choice of settings for time and power. It works uncannily - when you set the timer (to as many hours as you want) the top flap opens sliently and the machine whirrs away contentedly! If you want, you can connect the outlet directly to a drain, otherwise there's a removable water container on the back. Delivery is excellent, very quick from the makers in Hamburg to the UK. If you live in a damp art of Britain like we do in Cornwall, you won't regret buying one - we can recommend it without hesitation.

Good bits - exasperating packaging!
While Milwaukee's bits are well-engineered, the packaging is the worst I have ever encountered of any merchandise anywhere, by a long way. The tough plastic casing was all but impregnable and took ages to cut apart. It's not as if the strong plastic case needs packaging so thoroughly - a simple tab would do. It's a pointless excercise - older folk like me whose limbs are worn out through honest toil, just don't need useless packaging that hurts to open: life is too short! And tradesmen don't want to waste time wrestling with it either. Milwaukee need to think again about how they present their goods.

A good player but with minor shortcomings
0 of 1 found this helpful This player is adequate with a good picture and sound output. However the connections on the rear are minimal and not very versatile. It's a puzzzle how best to set it up with an av amplifier. The optical lead is not secure. The user guide is very vague and not particularly clear. It doesn't answer questions nor does Panasonic's website. Recommendable? - yes, but with reservations.
