Mont Blanc Royal Blue Is Indeed Truly Royal
A very rich full deep blue that is unmistakably blue and not so deep or dark as to appear navy or black. It is a few shades darker than a medium or electric blue. I don't own any other blue that has struck the balance between these poles quite so beautifully as Mont Blanc has. I am confident that it will work superbly as a writing ink for most applications and recommend it.

Truly a synergy live out loud
This collaborative effort between well known guitarists from different genres is truly Magical. Al DiMeola is known for his mastery of Jazz fusion who continues his prolific out put ten or more years from this work which is a landmark in his already starred career. Paco de Luca is the least known to the US audience because his popularity as a modern Flamenco style musician resides mainly in Europe, is connected to this trio thru the beauty that acoustic guitarists who play star treble highlights thru the profound rich tone of the E string can at least on that Friday night speak to each other. If the readers want to get a sense of how he plays flamenco in a very unique way I suggest the collection Antiologica' 1. Finally rock legend John Mclaughlin fills the electric air, of near perfect but unscripted and unrehearsed playing. Each off the other creating spontaneously a composition that was clearly not intended to be improvised but occured on that fabled night which genuinely seems to have just incidentally caught on tape. The story has it that the best cuts were really just what they sound like almost an intrusion into a small club with the featured artists discovering something unique that was just a magic mood. No one could have written alone or before hand. It takes no musical genius to hear that.
But it obviously required the musical genius of three musical geniuses combined to make it. This sense of an awe inspired meshing of musical minds brings out a picture of them smiling as they try to work a better lick than the one they are bouncing off of and then trying to support what the other is doing but how could they know ? That dear reader is the true magic, it just shouldn't have been possible.
It is present every time I listen to it and I have heard so many times I couldn't count the number. The guitarists are all extremely quick fingered and in that sense they make it sound all the more implausible. It could be likened to the mystery of a tap dancer playing so many rhythms and beats with just 2 feet. You find yourself enveloped by guitar music. You can only say. Where is all that coming from? The truth is it just happended to be the case on one Friday Night a fews years ago now, in a City by The Bay.
Check it out you will probably like it or as in my case make it a must hear every so often. I could use some now...
