Attractive but not an heirloom. If it's around and working in a couple years, count yourself lucky.
The clock is in resin - ie. plastic, but it's the second time I bought it. It's quite attractive on a stucco wall. We had an earlier version caught in a few successive thunderstorms and are trying again with some judiciously placed plastic wrap. It's water-resistant but humidity does get in, and we see in this version that the notice tells you that some condensation behind the transparent face is normal. It might be normal but it's not attractive. This one is holding up alright and the temperatures do seem reasonable. It ticks audibly but outdoors, not a problem. The previous clock, the humidity formed crystals and then the thermometer needle dropped off and finally the clock itself just stopped from the corrosion. We live in a very dry climate. So, the last one lasted one season. If this one ends up also in the landfill, we'll live without a clock outdoors.
