DO NOT BUY THIS - terrible product TL;DR
This is barely apt for a iPad or Kindle and even then you'd be taking a risk. The mechanism that keeps the tilt does not "click" into place. So, if you bump it it just pops out of the dent and down goes your device. This is utter rubbish. I originally thought the design would be good - and it would be if clicked into place securely. It does not. DO NOT BUY THIS. Also the picture is deceiving. The tilt you get is rubbish, basically very low. Finally it is flimsy made of plastic. It is ok for a something light or if you don't mind the thing collapsing, i.e. it would be handy to keep a recipe book while cooking because it is not going to get damaged if it falls. There is no way this is suitable for the weight of a laptop either. As I said: DO NOT BUY.
