Quick, Sharp, and BOKEH!
4 of 4 found this helpful Really nice lens. Auto focus is, while not silent, quick and 99% reliable.
Using single point focus requires some getting used to as wide open there's such a shallow depth of field to nail focus. Boken is pretty standard, can be often "blotchy" but it's pretty amazing given price. The focal length is a nice walk around lens and worked really well on my recent trip. Did occasionally wish I had a wider field of view however, but that's where other lenses are necessary
Practically impossible to do handheld video as there's no stabilisation, and auto focus is picked up by on board mics. Manual focusing is quite intuitive though after a while. Throw it on a tripod though and you're golden.
