Good for a tiny kid
These are much smaller than I anticipated by my own misunderstanding. I was thinking these would be more of the size of the ball pit balls like you see in most stores. 2 inches is much smaller. My biggest issue with these are that the plastic is so thin that they indent so far that I'm afraid to use them in a ball pit that is a 4ft by 6ft as I'm not sure they will hold up to a 4 year old playing in them on a long term basis. They would be good for a small ball pit with a very young child who plays fairly gentle with them.

Second set of eyes for parents
Nothing can compare to a watchful parent's eye, however having a little backup never hurts! A few words of wisdom from the few days we've had our monitor. Don't forget to put the monitor on and think it'll be okay to try and slack and put it on over footie pajamas or you'll be up all night with false alarms! Wake the baby and put them back to sleep after putting it on it'll be a lot easier! If you're a stats watcher don't get all bent out of shape if babies stats seem to dip a bit, wait and see as it might come right back up (not a red alarm dip but just a small dip in their stats) or the baby might just have a slower heart rate while sleeping which is normal too. But overall it definitely is a great way to give you a "second set of eyes" to help keep your little one as safe as you can.
