An interesting story with good development of characters.
This book is interesting, much better than the film, it develops the story of Susie and her time in heaven. It also focuses on the relationships and timelines of her family and friends after her death.
It does make a lot of assumptions to what happens after we die, but you could argue that is is set in it's own universe, and not necessarily real life. But I don't know.
It's not the best book I've ever read, but definitely worth a read if you are interested in a crime/afterlife sort of story, or if you like reading about the development of people's lives after a significant death in the family.
