Garbage...or not, depending on your point of view.
1 of 1 found this helpful "You'd like Garbage," that was what I was told back in 1994, whilst my broken hand was being plastered. Not sure what he meant at that moment, but sure enough, having been informed that Garbage meant a group and not just smelly things in a bin, I discovered that he was right, I did.
I bought the album all those years ago and was immediately impressed by the way that alternative music had been taken to a different level, and not poisoned by the transition.
Stolen from my car, it became one of those CDs that I failed to initially replace, not because I didn't love it, but because I had other priorities. So seeing it on a seller's 'other items' list, I just couldn't resist it. Besides, after 12 years had passed since originally buying it, I had a whole new audience to convince of the album's enduring greatness!
