Poor Design
This umbrella has some design flaws which renders it impractical.
- It tolerates winds of only 12 MPH, which makes it unusable on most days.
- It is difficult to set up even with two people.
- The "grommets" (where the umbrella is mounted onto the mounting brackets) are sown into the fabric of the umbrella, so any attempt to repair requires the skill of a seamstress.
- The grommets are brittle and easy to break.
- The umbrella cannot be left up; it must be completely removed from the pool each time, otherwise you risk damage from winds. It would be much better to design an umbrella that can be opened and closed without having to detach it from the mounting bracket.

94 Lincoln Town -- Love It!
4 of 4 found this helpful I own a Signature Series. It has 180,000+ miles and is still going strong. It is the most comfortable car/ride I have ever owned or ridden. Handles the best of any car I've had. I can drive for hours without becoming tired. Use it for everyday driving in Mid-west, both city and highway driving. For mileage it gets 24-26 mpg on the highway which is great for a full-sized car! Combined highway and city driving is 18 mpg. It is mechanically sound, has needed very little repair -- mainly maintenance. As the third owner, I am not aware of any major repair. I had to clean the EGR valve and throttle body assembly recently, but that is all. It is starting to use some oil; the valve seals will need to be replaced someday, a common thing for a 4.6 liter engine with this many miles. There is not a single thing about the car I don't like.
I bought the car from a friend because I've always enjoyed Lincolns. This one was well maintained and the price was more than right. I loved it the minute I test drove it.
