Amazing, but ...
What an amazing product! We are a small IT company specialising in Smart Home and similar devices, evaluating a wide range from voice activated personal assistants (Alexa - write this review unfortunately didn't work ;-)). The Withings Aura is great value, well designed, surprisingly practical producing fascinating results, plus lots of interesting features that do seem to assist sleep as well as monitor it. The option not to need to manually 'start' and 'stop' sleep tracking is extremely useful (detects when you're in bed and starts automatically). Would have given 5 stars BUT setting up was a nightmare - took 3 full days! On the upside Nokia (who now own the Withings Aura) support team were excellent and with their help all worked following a couple of calls and emails back and forth. The other reason not to be able to give 5 stars is the questionable data - it is tricky to know how accurate the results actually are and in testing against another sleep tracking product, vary quite considerably (though broadly in the same direction) - of course this could indicate that the other sleep tracker is inaccurate ... so now testing against a third one (expensive hobby!) Overall however, in terms of value for money, ease of use (once set up!) and fascinating features and sleep data, an excellent product I would highly recommend.
