Ikaruga = raidant silvergun
Ikaruga is probably the most difficult shooter ever made. It is a remake of the ultra rare Sega Saturn game Radiant Silvergun (only available for japan consoles). What makes it so special you ask? it's different! it's not your standard shooter although in many ways it is... The biggest difference between radiant silvergun and other shooters is that you can absorb bullets depending on your crafts polarity and you can change your polarity at any time. changin your polarity also affects how powerful your weapon is vs different opponents. as well as enabling you to power up your craft by absorbing energy of the same polarity. i still havent made it by the third level boss. but i know it is possible and i have seen it done. if your looking for a challenging game you can't go wrong with ikaruga! one of the must have games for the gamecube even if you don't like shooters! fast paced, action packed, exciting and fun!

Norse Gods at War!
I thought this game was cool because it's a RPG set in Norse myth. Not to mention it has a fun and unique gameplay style. It's just completely original and has a great replay potential. there are multiple difficulty levels and each difficulty presents you with different playable characters. If you can find the guide, buy it too! Not for the sports game fanatic, but the 1# must have for fans of enix, squaresoft, atlus or any other great RPG manufacturer.

I had really high expectations.
I loved all the elder scrolls games... including this one. But i thought this game should have been longer and it needed some variety, after awile it seemed like all i was doing was running to another gate and sealing it, then doing it over again not to mention the buildings, how many different buldings are there? 3? 4? ... an Another issue i had was that i was used to playing it on the PC and i bought a brand new computer to run it. And Although you can play this game on a PC it was designed for the Xbox 360 and playing it on a pc atleast now before any updates or expansions are released is mostly disapointing even if your computer exceeds the pretty massive system requirements. infact dont play it unless you can meet the high end system reqs. And you might as well play it with a xbox 360 controller too.... because there are no hotkeys. IF you like graphics it's got what you need. but most everything has been downsized from morrowind except for graphics and audio. sure, everyone talks and you'll recognize the voices from star trek and lotr and the graphics blow away anything i've ever played before... but i'd rather be able to fly everywhere with my potion of levitation (including in and out of town), wear a pauldron, sell and buy an item with out clicking the mouse 5 times per item, and not have every single minor bandit fight me wearing glass or daedric armor. to put this simply; i prefer morrowind.
