Great Quality and excellent price

I was looking to buy a large carpet for my tent on a budget By far the cheapest way to purchase a carpet for your tent rather than buying a carpet specifically manufactured for your tent which can be very expensive

Fantastic Roomy Family Tent
8 of 8 found this helpful After lengthy research on Tunnel tents Including physically inspecting some, I knew exactly what I wanted and also what I didn't want . The Skandika Gotland 6-9 person/man tent 'ticked' all boxes when I found it on Ebay. I have now camped in the tent with my family of four for a week in the UK and am looking forward to another trip in August. The measurements and features are so versatile. The large living area was perfect for setting up out chairs and kitchen equipment with lots of room for socializing of an evening rather than take a separate Gazebo etc.
The bedroom is a fantastic size . It can be used a one 'giant' room , which is great when you want the whole family to sleep in one area. It has a divider which equally divided the bedroom in to two equal parts. Many tents I looked at divided into unequal size rooms or have a 'fixed' divided which limits the options of bedroom layout. The bedroom size also means that six people can sleep comfortably or four with a mass or room for a changing area or clothes storage etc.
The side door openings / electric inlet zip/ lighting cable hooks of the tent are 'mirrored' which means it's so convenient when pitched as you don't have to think about making sure that the electric hook up is on a certain side of the tent or that the doors are facing away from neighbours. Lots of tents only have one side door or have a port for the electric on one side.
On our first night , we had extremely high winds hitting the tent to one side and despite my worry , the tent stood firm and I didn't even need to tighten the ropes in the morning. It was easy for just two of us to erect.
The only design feature I would add/change if I could would be the side windows. As this tent is lovely and wide, it does mean the base of tent means a shorter person can't reach the top of the windows to roll them up. I was the only person in our family who could do this. If I had experienced this feature before buying i would still have purchased the tent. The price was brilliant and the fast delivery was perfect. I couldn't find a carpet and footprint from Skandika on sale , but was able to buy a generic tent carpet and footprint separately at a very good price by searching the internet. I would recommend not only the tent but the seller as well and would be a return customer for other products.

Read this book, a real page turner.
Really good book! I have read a few of this authors and have enjoyed them all, but this is definately my favourite so far. Would recommend it.
