Bontrager Trip 300 Bike Computer Wireless Track Speed Time Heart Rate Distance

Bontrager 300 install on Trek Verve+2
The Verve+2 has a computer with current speed, ODO, trip, lights on/off, power modes. Not much. The 300 adds timer, avg speed, max speed, cadence, calories, temp to above functions. It comes with a universal rubber band mount. You can buy separately, a blendr mount if you have a Trek. YOU NEED the sensor, sold separately for $60. Mount for sensor has rubber band or zip ties. Use the zip ties, the rubber band is a poor set-up. The zip tie holes are hard to notice on sensor, look closely. I found the sensor tricky to get distances between cadence magnet and wheel magnet lined up, with cadence magnet pulled to end of crank arm. Tighten zip ties well, use a pliers to get them tight, on left side, to lower frame piece to rear axle. The 300 pairs easily to the sensor with the pairing mode in that initial setup rotation for C°/F°, Mi/Km, etc. A red light flashes on the sensor when it pairs up. I like the 300, it is small, but easy to read, easy to set up, waterproof, portable for theft protection or bike swapping, and shock resistant. You can move it between bikes, with another mount and sensor. ODO is singular, so you couldn’t keep track of both bikes’ total mileage on the 300, just one.
