Excellent adaptation! One to add to period drama watch list!
In fairness I am unsure of how many adaptations have been made of this classic but I rate this version very highly. I've watched it countless times, and enjoy it more and more! I find the casting and the accuracy to the book all excellent. Would recommend this over the latest movie version with Carey Mulligan 100 times over. This adaption invests time in building Gabriel and Bathsheba's story and chemistry along with other interesting sub plots. I enjoy it so much I thought I may aswell add it to my classic DVD period drama collection.

Great teen fiction!
Thrilling book, i purchased it for my younger sister as i remembered reading it around her age and found it thrilling! The storyline had really stayed with me. Highly recommend.

Excellent BBC period drama!
This is quite an old BBC Drama but it is excellent! I'd usually try watch it on youtube but with stricter restrictions it is no longer available. Anyway, the drama feels authentic, the script is very well written as is the acting and casting is top notch! Introduced it to my 16 year old sister who has been hooked!
