Not quite as good as it looks
The shortcomings:
- The magnifying glass arm has a very limited movement range and will begin to fall after a few seconds.
- The rigid third hand's adjustment nuts bend the metal out of shape when you tighten them, and doesn't even improve the weight bearing.
- The copper mesh looks more like brass and doesn't clean an iron very well at all.
- The base has a single rubber foot at the very back, so if you bump it, it'll pivot away from you and move the magnifier out of position.
- The solder sponge plate doesn't hold onto the sponge, so it's easy to accidentally drag it off the plate when cleaning your iron.
The positives:
- The magnifier is decent, and the LEDs are quite bright. You get good visibility from it, although the limited movement range hampers that somewhat.
- The soldering iron holder is solid and can be rotated to suit.
- The flexi-arm with alligator jaws is very handy, has good movement range, and holds about as much weight as the rigid third hand clasps.
Ultimately it's not a terrible product, however, it's not worth the $50 I paid for it. Unless you're hurting for workbench space, you'd be much better off buying a proper desk mounted magnifier, and a separate third hand capable of holding up a decent weight.

A bit of a silicone lottery
0 of 1 found this helpful Opening the box, the board looked pretty good. It was clean, everything was solid, it even had a CPU socket cover that's better than Intel's one. Unfortunately, that's the end of the positive bits.
The board I received was extremely picky with hardware and out of 8 tested RAM kits, only one would get it to POST. The BIOS speaker (which wasn't included at the time) was worthless and only produced a POST code on a successful boot, so good luck trying to diagnose a fault if it can't get to BIOS. The instruction sheet listed incorrect memory channels, incorrect jumper locations, and did not contain an index of audible POST codes for troubleshooting. The terminals for USB 2.0 are also not properly differentiated from other similar terminals, which lead to us believing there was a bad USB terminal for almost an hour.
For the price it may be tempting, but there's an element of luck here. You don't want to lose.
