ABSOLUTE BARGAIN! UNBEATABLE!
Good items and excellent value for money.
FIRST IMPRESSION: The heads look well-constructed and the bristles are springy and appear like they will perform their intended function well. The products are colour-coded blue and red - I am not sure whether there is a difference between the two, or whether the coding is there to permit allocation to different members of the family (??).
LATER: On the 3rd day of use, I started having doubts as the brush would not rotate, but then realized it was because I had not cleaned it thoroughly after previous use so that a small blob of tootpaste had dried on the brush - TIP: if this happens, just move tip of brush slightly and gently back & forth 2 times or wash it.
I have not had the problem again, and if you think about it, if you change the head every 3 months, 4 heads a year, these will last 6 years or 2 years for a family of 3.
YOU CANNOT BEAT IT!
OVERALL: A snap worth grabbing while still available [As Lidl say "When it's gone, it's gone!"

Superb ASUS VB171D LCD TFT monitor from approved agent
I selected this monitor for 3 main reasons:-
1. I needed a square (NOT widescreen) monitor to fit in with my other 3 monitors and to provide as near a match as possible. The others are also Asus square ones, but a different model (slightly), namely VB172T (the sizes of the two are very similar); the main differences are that: a) the VESA screw holes on the back of the two models are at slightly different heights, though both at the standard 100mm distance apart; this was not a big issue for me as my quad monitor stand has an adjustment which allows for this b) the VB172T has a DVI socket (in addition to the VGA) which the VB171D does not (the expected improved resolution on the former is hardly noticeable [I have two double graphics cards, each one having one standard VGA socket and one DVI socket].
2. I was very happy with my previously bought 3 ASUS monitors because of reliability, excellent performance, easy to use screen adjustments with simple up, down and select functions on the front bottom right, nice aesthetics and general features.
3. The support staff in Holland were very courteous and helpful (and answered my call promptly: I needed to call to find out how to remove the stand holder from the base of the monitor, which I found instructions on in the help files on the CD manual included [here clear instructions with neat diagrams allowed a quick and simple solution]).
Overall, I cannot pinpoint a single problem with these monitors ever (I have had the first 3 for nearly 2 years and the 4th for a few months).
I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone looking for a square (or other) monitor to go for this make.

RIM Blackberry Bold 9000: Review of quality & features
13 of 13 found this helpful This is a simply immaculate piece of technology that is ideal for several useful activities for many reasons:-
The use of the keyboard is efficient, accurate (not easy to press the wrong key in spite of quite a small QUERTY due to a clever key-pressing mechanism), and the touch and move finger (or thumb) button that allows selection is very easy and precise to use.
The resolution of the screen is excellent, and in spite of the screen being very small (compared to any PC or laptop), it is very easy to read, even for a presbyope (person who needs reading glasses) like myself. The other reasons for this ease are very good colour rendering and sufficient illumination.
The host of features are brilliant with some not available on simple mobile phones, and these are quite readily customisable. Examples are the on-gadget help facility, which I have not come across before (so you do not need to carry an instruction book), and the ability to edit Word, Excel and Powerpoint files. The help information available on the .pdf file in the included cd is also very useful and comprehensive (it can be saved onto the hard disc of your PC).
The bluetooth capabilities work well e.g. the device connects to a hands-free very quickly, and remains connected (does not seem to connect to some older hands-free devices).
I found that this gadget allows quite fast browsing of the internet, especially the use of software on websites specially designed for the Bold 9000. This is also good value for under a pound a day (in the UK only). I have tried a mini laptop and a Datawind Pocket Surfer for share trading before, but they are no comparison to the Blackberry.
The only two minor weak points I noted were:-
Firstly, the charge on the battery does not last at all near what is claimed (it only lasts about 60 hours [maximum] even on standby, whereas much longer is claimed on the company website).
Secondly, in my view, the number of symbols available on text messages appears slightly low at about 40 (I am a scientist, and require e.g. Greek alphabet, which was available on my old device).
In summary, I could not manage without this device, particularly when I am out and about, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who needs the various features outlined above (perhaps not for gamers).
Thank you.
