"Terrible, rust inducing product"
1 of 6 found this helpful This product simply doesn't work. In fact, when used it causes a flash rust which has to be cleaned off and the colour is almost invisible when applied. The instructions were followed to the letter, and the process repeated to try and "build up" layers. Even after two cycles of heating, cooling, applying, it simply wipes off after. After all this, the rust had to be removed with a wire brush. The seller simply ignores return requests. I have since tried Stovax Black Grate Polish. Its paste form applies easily and needs only one coat to richly cover the stove. After the first stove use after paste application, buff the stove with a soft cloth and you will be left with a superb, authentic black graphite finish (like the lead of a 6B pencil). In addition, it is cheaper than Dirtbusters non-effective, rust inducing "Stove Polish". If you care about your stove, avoid Dirtbusters' product.
