Samsung replacement non-genuine (but compatible) part works well so far.
Was a bit sceptical that maybe, buying a 'non-genuine' spare part for my 9 years old Samsung RS 21 fridge/freezer, would only cause more problems, but so far so good. It works well and on-line comments about the differences between genuine and non-genuine parts say that there may be future likelihood of ice-ingress - so time will tell.
