cute and entertaining, but not functional for digging
i just bought this for my husbands birthday because my 4yo son has been obsessed with watching the RC construction youtube videos. We opened it and charged the batteries fully. And my husband brought some sandblasting sand into the house for them to dig in. The machine couldn't even handle the bucket picking up 1/4 of a bucket full. There's definitely no way that this machine could go outside and dig in the dirt or sand, which is what we were hoping. I'm not sure what it's function could actually be, other than entertaining for my 4yo to drive around the house. But he wants to DIG and load his dump truck with dirt and rocks. I'd return it if I was able to! Also, it's all plastic...the cab and the bucket. Doesn't say that anywhere in the listing and it doesn't LOOK cheap and plastic in the photo.
