Excellent so far, but issues with cold weather of Canada

- Fits perfectly in Jetta TDI 2011, no extra brackets or adopters needed
- Very cost effective
- Screen is nice
- Bluetooth capability built in
- CarPlay built-in
- Perfectly matches the overall interior of Jetta (same colour on button lights)
CONS:
- I am finding that when we hit -0 Celsius, and I plug in CarPlay, the system constantly reboots. It is fine once the car gets heated up. This unit may not be designed for Canadian winters (at least not until the car is cold)
- I feel I have to speak louder on carphone, compared to the VW unit I had originally installed. Mic may not be as good as the original. I haven't heard myself from the other end (caller's side) so it could just be that the three people I called had bad ears?
VERDICT:
- Even with the CONS above, it is a worthwhile purchase.
- If you are looking to replace your VW unit, this is a no-brainer.
