CTEK Comfort Battery Charge Clamp Indicator 12V Chargers <<NEW>>

I've thrown it away and bought a multimeter

I purchased this to monitor a new battery for my electric fence. It is no use. it registers RED when the voltage is still well above 12.5v after just four days usage - I should get maybe a month. I have been advised by the battery retailer that I can safely wait until the voltage is down to 11.5v. So whilst it is handy in that it constantly monitors the battery in an easy to see way - the info it is giving is of little value
