Good device but this one is faulty

This is the second rod I have bought . The first one lasted about 10 years until the plastic head broke. This one is faulty: the catch slips out of the hole when extended. The springed protuberance is depressed and the holes are not drilled squarely. It was difficult to test the device on arrival because it would mean keeping the courier for some time. I have partially solved the problem by using the extension from the older rod. I would strongly suggest testing the rod on delivery.
