Bose QuietComfort 20i In-Ear Only Headphones - Dark Gray

Work well but break way to easy for the money and are very hard to self repair or expensive to have bose fix them

ANC is why I buy these as I am on tractors several hours every day. These I wear under over the ear hearing protection and the combination of two gives enough hearing protection to keep my ears for ringing for hours after I've been mowing for 8 hours. Unfortunately they are very fragile for the money and it is really easy to catch a wire on something which can ruin them instantaneously. There are other cheaper devices, such as TAO that work well but Bose does have the best ANC. They just need to make them adjustable to the frequency environment as different tractor implements operate in different frequencies. Bose works well in certain frequency ranges. Hopefully some company will come up with one that you can adjust frequencies so you can cancel exactly the noise that you want to remove.

Good for the price

Not as good at noise cancelling as a more expensive earbud but even a $300 Bose has several design flaws. For the money works ok and it's not as painful when something catches a wire and pulls it out of the battery unit instantly ruining a $300 earbud.
